I was very attracted to the cream
eyeshadows, see how pigmented they are!
They are really easy to blend too. I got a bit carried away while choosing the colors and my hand ended up like this.

These look a bit different than normal cream shadows. They have a layer of white glitter/shimmer on top. It's just
one layer, you have to either scoop away that layer or use it up before the actual color is revealed.
This is how they look like when they are Brand New.

I brushed off some of the top layer of these shadows to show you how these work.
Personally I'm never going to use the white glitter part. So I'll just get rid of the top layer sooner or later.
Ingredients : Mineral Oil (YUK) , Vaseline (this was unexpected) , Dimethicone, Cera Alba 8108, Synthetic Wax, Polybutene,VitaminB5, Phenonig,Fragrance, Colorants (diferafor each item)

I
swatched these 6 for you to see their nice pigmentation and all. These do not have names. They
only have color codes at the back of the product.

These are all the colors that I got.

I actually bought all these on 2
separate days.
That's why the two lime green that I got look so similar. They are two
separate colors though. One of them actually look totally yellow in the store, I
don't know why it looks more green when I swatch it home. I
didn't check the product code behind , I have a feeling the SA might have gotten the wrong color for me? I'm not sure really.
These are really nice! But they do have an expiry date. These expire in 2012.

NYX Pearl Mania Review w/ Swatches
Product: NYX Pearl Mania Loose Pearl Eyeshadow
Price : USD1.25-USD3.50 ( varies at difference stores and websites)
Ingredients: Mica (and) Iron Oxides (and) Titanium Dioxide
Price : 5 / 5The quality of these babies is really really good. These are usually on sale for about USD1.50 each before shipping. You get about a 12gm jar full of product, so dont let the packaging fool you. These are really value for money. They are nicely pigmented and shimmery. The shimmers/glitters are also very finely milled. When I got these, there were only like, twenty colors, I chose 15 of those that will look good on me. However, NYX just came out wiht soem new colors. So the total color selection should be 30 (or so)now.
Packaging : 2/5The original packaging is impossible to work with. The opening of the little container it too small to let a brush in. It's only big enough to dip in one of those sponge tip applicators. I ended up depotting mine into some stackable 10gm jars. But i still got some powders left, enough to fill a 1inch pan. Thats a lot of product for just USD1.50.
That's about it I guess, its a really short review. I often realise that when I like a product, I have very little to say , other than " It's great!"
The swatches below are applied on the TKB Trading Eye fix (Eyeshadow Primer)

EOTD 2 - Galazy Gold (Gold & Black)

This is a look I wore on
Friday but only updating it now because I came back late at night and had to work.
1. So I started by priming my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion. Prime the Lower lid also
I needed something that can hold my eyeshadow for at least 8 hours.

2 . I applied
-NYX's Jumbo pencil in Black bean on the outer half of my eyelid
- NYX's Jumbo eye pencil in Cottage cheese on my inner lids.
I only applied a little and then blend on my eyelid. Too thick a layer will crease up my eyeshadow. But These jumbo pencils really help to make the eyeshadow colors pop.
I don't wear this on their own. I can only wear them on top of UDPP because they crease BADLY on me on their own.

3. Apply Gold eyeshadow on the 2/3 of lids.
I used a half half mix of
TKB Tradings's Gold Fine Mica + Brilliant Gold Mica

4.
- Apply dark grey eyeshadow on the outer eyelids.
- Apply Black eyeshadow on the outer V. or the crease to define the eyes better so it looks more 3D. ( I used
TKB Trading's Black Oxide)
- Smudge black
eyeshadow on the lower lids.

5. I applied a but more of
TKB's Brilliant Gold eyeshadow on my inner corners.
- I applied Indelible Gel Liner in "Black Out" on my upper lash line.
- Finally, Curl Lashes and Apply mascara ( I'm using CoverGirl's Lash Blast in Very black waterproof)
This is the finished look. PLEASE Don't mind the horrible complexion. I was in a hurry to go out, so this picture is taken 10 hours after putting make up on. my foundation pretty much faded But you see the UDPP is still holding my eyeshadow really well.

My skin looks horrible here, but the eyeshadow is the topic here!
In case any1 is interested. I am wearing GEO Color Contacts in Angel Green.

TKB Trading Haul 2,

I finally received mt
TKB trading stuffs from my 2
nd haul !. It was GREAT!
I got the
TKB trading Eyeshadow primer, Eye Fix too.
This time they had this available for bulk
purchases too. (
wasn't available during my first purchase ).
The Eye Fix was selling at
USD9.50 for 1. It's cheaper if you get a set of 6. They have it available in even larger
quantities.
I got a set of 6 for the eye fix, I took 2 and one of it went to another spree-er. Because i was doing a spree to save on shipping.
Now
I'm left with 3 extras. Trying my luck to swap or sell it off.
I got myself more pigments. I Ordered the
Hilite Set, and the Pop Mica Samplers set. The Baggies
aren't ful in the picture because i
already transfered the powder in to my jars. The left over is saved for pressing then into pans.

These Baggies only include the pigments i got form my 2
nd haul.
Here's my total collection of pigments from
TKB trading. :)

Now , better pictures divided by color. Accuracy should be about an average of 80%.
The Top row is quite accurate. Except that the Apricot mica is really 1 shade lighter.
Ivory lace and Blush beige are not as
pink as they appear.
Moonstone Mica is Very accurate

Everything here are pretty accurate except that soft red is a lot lighter in
real l
ife.

Green Apply Pop is really light medium green. A cool green.. But i think the camera washed out its color.
Breath of Spring is very accurate though.
Cyprus green and Emerald actually looks really similar in the skin. Cant tell much difference. Get either one will do.
